General Terms & Conditions

Note: These are general policies. A booking contract will be sent with each booking

TOUR OPERATOR: Grand Slam Tennis Tours® Inc.

DOCUMENTATION: A valid passport is required for travel into or out of the United States. A Visitor's Visa issued by an Australian consulate office is necessary for travel to Australia. Obtaining proper documents is the responsibility of each passenger.

TO SECURE A BOOKING: Complete passenger information form and send in immediately with a non-refundable deposit of 50% of tour cost per person to Grand Slam Tennis Tours Inc. If we are able to accept a booking according to your request we will confirm this to you within 10 days of receipt.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS AND FEES: If, after receipt of deposit by Grand Slam Tennis Tours Inc., hereinafter referred to as GST, a cancellation is made for any reason other than GST's inability to provide the date(s) requested, GST will impose the following cancellation fees: · Failure to submit final payment to GST as of a specified date, constitutes full cancellation and complete forfeiture of deposit at that time. · If cancellation is made between 60 days and 41 days prior to departure, charges will be levied in the amount of 50% of the complete price of the tour, per person. · If cancellation is made between 40 days and 0 days prior to departure, charges will be levied in the amount of 100% of the completed price of the tour, per person. · If despite the cancellation, all space is sold out for the departure in question the lowest amount of U.S. dollars paid for a booking after the cancellation will be credited against the original client's cancellation liability. All persons should be aware that any cancellation of accommodations may be resold by GST to a new client at a rate of discount. In any case a minimum of $100.00 per person handling fee for any cancellation, will be levied by GST. If despite its reasonable efforts, GST is not able to sell all of the tour accommodations after cancellation, no credit against the original clients cancellation liability shall be payable. · Cancellations requested by individuals, travel agents or group representatives for departures held under deposit must be made in writing to Grand Slam Tennis Tours Inc., 112 S. Main Street #226, Stowe, VT 05672, USA, and the relevant date that the cancellation is determined from will be the date that the written cancellation request is received by GST (use of registered mail, dated telegram or overnight mail delivery is suggested). · No travel agents, agents, sub-agents, or other persons, other than authorized employees of GST have any right to promise a refund or to refund any sums payable or paid to GST, whether in whole or in part, or to agree to any variation of these CANCELLATION CONDITIONS AND FEES.

TOUR AVAILABILITY: If your choice of tour is sold out, we will offer an alternative choice at the corresponding price. If this is not satisfactory, your payments will be returned immediately.

GENERAL CONDITIONS: Grand Slam Tennis Tours Inc. hereinafter referred to as GST, reserves the right to substitute a hotel, boat, bus, car, or airline for any reason and to cancel or withdraw or alter, in whole or in part, the itinerary of any trip prior to or after departure should GST deem circumstances require it, whether as a result of closures of any kind, repairs and maintenance, inclement weather or due to any other factors beyond the control of GST, and GST will have no liability for any loss arising from such change. All transfers between hotels, boats, airports, train stations or other places are the expense of passenger, unless specifically included in the officially published tour PRICES and DEPARTURES; and if any delays preclude the use of prepaid accommodations or activities, those accommodations or activities shall be non-refundable. All costs incurred by any late arrivals or early departures must be borne in full by the individual passenger(s) concerned: i.e., taxi, restaurant, and hotel fees. GST is not liable for any expense for missed airplanes, trains, buses, or any other conveyance, or for any inconvenience caused to any passenger(s) by late transfer arrivals or departures for any reason. The right is also reserved by GST to decline to accept or retain any person as a participant on the tour at any time; in such cases, refunds will be based on the cost of the unfinished portion of the trip, as determined by GST. Any passenger(s) leaving the tour early, or at an unscheduled time of their own free will, will be due no refund of any kind from GST or its agents, sub-agents, suppliers, or other persons.

RESPONSIBILITY: Grand Slam Tennis Tours Inc., hereinafter referred to as GST, has made arrangements with airlines, cruise ships, hotels, sightseeing companies (bus operators) and other suppliers to provide services, as outlined herein, and has exercised reasonable care to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for the client. Local clubs may be used for private play. The customer acknowledges that GST is acting as an independent intermediary for these various suppliers. GST has no responsibility or liability for these suppliers, over whom GST maintains no control over their personnel, equipment or operations. GST can assume no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, property damage (including lost luggage) or other loss, accident ,delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reasons of (1) any wrongful, negligent acts of omissions on the part of these suppliers, (2) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any employee of any of these suppliers, (3) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment or instrumentality owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers, or (4) any wrongful or negligent acts of omission on the part of or any other parts not under the control, direct or otherwise, of GST. Furthermore, GST cannot be held responsible for any Acts of God, weather conditions, wars, illness, quarantine, strikes, terrorism or other causes not controlled by GST and not known to GST at the time of departure. In the event of a change of services to be provided our clients, GST shall substitute said services with comparable quality as originally stated in the officially published tour PRICES and DEPARTURES. Although GST may sell the air associated with these tours, the package itself does not start until passenger arrival at the designated hotel. Please fill out Passenger Information and mail to GST.
